V.  Committee Reports

Banquet - Mark Bool gave a short report on the final outcome of the 2007 banquet.  Mark shared concerns on how people picked up items from silent auctions.  He felt that using a spreadsheet would ease the issues that occurred this year.  The 2008 Fundraising Banquet will be May 10, 2008 at the Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale.

Habitat - Pete Cimellaro reported on the Mills Creek project, which was finished in March 2007.  This water project will aid in keeping wildlife from crossing Hwy 188 to access water.

Newsletter - Deadline is approaching fast.  End of April is the deadline.

Youth – Evidently, the JADA trailer was found to be in horrible disarray after it was used in southern Arizona.  Pete cleaned and restocked the trailer.  Discussion about loaning out the trailer to other groups; however, no action was taken.

WCC/Legislative - Pete reported on the Kofa and that it is going to Congress.  The OHV bill is up for vote in the Arizona senate next week and all groups are still supporting the bill. Pete also gave a quick report on the AZOutwire.com.  This is an email and news forum that will give alerts to issues concerning sportsman and sportswomen in Arizona.

Website - Amanda Moors reported on sales from the website for the banquet.  Over $7000 in sales were completed.  Amanda added an email request area on the website.
