I. Welcome and call to order
The president called the meeting to order at 6:38 pm
II. News and Information from Game and Fish
Jim Hinkle was introduced as the new big game supervision. There will be a commission meeting on September 11th.
III. Approval of minutes
John Koleszar moved, Domenick Lopano seconded, to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
IV. Treasurer’s Report
Rick Miller moved, Bryan Waitman seconded to accept the treasurer’s report as presented. Motion carried.
V. Old Business
Inventory/Request for Equipment – Brad Freitag explained the funding left for the juniors trailer. The Youth Committee has ordered $3215 in equipment from Del Re’s and that invoice would need to be paid. Brad Freitag moved, Domenick Lopano seconded, to pay the invoice from Del Re’s for $3214.34. Motion carried.
Deer Times – we have received a bid to produce the Deer Times for $2100, but we would need to cut 4 pages per issue. Cathy Cimellaro will work on the Fall issue with us.
Clinic – membership were down, but we did acquire 14 new members. We took in $770 at the door, and another $1947 in various raffles. It was decided that we would not hold the clinic so close to the drawing of tags, since it made it difficult to get the mailing list from Game and Fish in a timely manner.
Resignation of Pete Cimellaro – John Koleszar moved, Domenick Lopano seconded, to accept the resignation of Pete Cimellaro from the Board. Motion carried.
Hunter Heritage Ad donation – no action was taken.
AZSFW Donation – after the discussion, the board decided to delay action on this item until next meeting and after a full accounting of the Great American Deer Raffle.
VI. New Business
Ray Tanner invites members to see how FS does range monitoring
Banquet – we need a chair for the next banquet.
HPC – there will be several events in the spring.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 9:05 pm
