BOQUILLAS RANCH CLEAN-UP

JUNE 26, 2004

8:00 AM MEETING & SIGN-IN

HELP US KEEP GAME MANAGEMENT UNIT 10 OPEN TO PUBLIC ACCESS, BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS SPORTSMAN / LANDOWNER RELATIONS PROJECT. THE MAJORITY OF UNIT 10 IS ON THE BOQUILLAS RANCH AND IS OWNED BY THE NAVAJO TRIBE.   WE WANT TO HELP INSURE THAT ACCESS TO THIS IMPORTANT GAME MANAGEMENT UNIT IS GUARANTEED, NOW AND FOR THE FUTURE.  INVEST A LITTLE TIME TODAY, SO THAT WE MAY ENJOY ACCESS IN THE FUTURE.

FROM SELIGMAN, TAKE OLD HIGHWAY 66 AND HEAD WEST. JUST BEFORE MILEPOST 123 IS THE TURN OFF TO PICA CAMP. TURN RIGHT; YOU WILL GO THROUGH A GATEWAY THAT HAS PICA CAMP WRITTEN ACROSS THE TOP. PROCEED APPROXIMATELY 2.5 MILES TO THE PICA CAMP SIGN-IN STATION. WE WILL MEET HERE AT 8:00 AM ON SATURDAY MORNING. AFTER SIGNING-IN AND PICKING UP GARBAGE BAGS, WE WILL SPLIT UP AND COVER AS MUCH OF THE RANCH AS POSSIBLE. PLEASE PICK UP ALL PAPER, CANS, GLASS AND LITTER THAT OTHERS HAVE LEFT BEHIND WHEN USING THE RANCH.  THIS WILL BE A GREAT FAMILY PROJECT, AND KIDS ARE WELCOME TO COME AND LEARN RESPECTFUL USE OF PRIVATE LANDS.

AT THE SIGN-IN, MAPS WILL BE PROVIDED TO SHOW WHERE SATURDAY EVENINGíS CAMP IS LOCATED. THE MOHAVE SPORTSMANíS CLUB AND THE ARIZONA DEER ASSOCIATION WILL PROVIDE DINNER SATURDAY EVENING AND BREAKFAST ON SUNDAY MORNING. WE WILL ALSO HAVE A CAMPFIRE GET TOGETHER SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER DINNER. BRING THE FAMILY, COME OUT AND ENJOY GOOD TIMES WITH LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE. WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE A TURNOUT OF SEVERAL HUNDRED PEOPLE AND BREAK THE OLD ATTENDANCE RECORD.

IF YOU CANNOT BE AT THE SATURDAY MORNING SIGN-IN AT 8:00AM, A MAP TO CAMP WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE SIGN-IN BOX. COME OUT AND JOIN US WHEN YOU CAN.

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE MOHAVE SPORTSMAN CLUB, ORGANIZERS OF THE ANNUAL BOQUILLAS RANCH CLEAN UP.
