Coon Canyon Trick Tank Project
Looking for a place to cool off! How about Region
1, southwest of Eagar AZ on the weekend of July 16 & 17.
This is a cooperative project with the US Forest Service,
26 BAR Ranch (Hopi Tribe), Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Wild Turkey
Federation and the Arizona Deer Association. Funding for this project is
being provided by the RMEF, NWTF and the ADA.
This is a redevelopment of an important existing wildlife
water. Primary species of benefit are ELK, DEER, TURKEY and JAVELINA (yes I
did say Javelina).
Volunteers are needed to help install a new apron, tank and
drinker.
ADBSS Master projects builder / supervisor Dean
Bowdoin will be coordinating the work!
There is plenty of work to be done! If you want to come up
early and enjoy the cool weather you are encouraged to do so! Materials
will be delivered on Thursday and work will begin on Friday morning.
