Board of Directors Meeting

Meeting called to order by President Todd Julian at 7:20 p.m.
The board discussed a recent incident where the purchasers of last year’s
special tag wanted to
transfer the tag to someone else once the hunt started. After discussion, the
board reiterated that
the policy and statute are that tags are non transferable once issued and the
hunt starts.

Treasurer’s Report
Craig Dunlap distributed the financial reports. Mike Hull moved, Dom Lopano
seconded, to
approve the treasurer’s report as presented. Motion carried
Membership
No Report
Newsletter
Pete Cimellaro reported that newsletter was unfortunately not printed properly,
with the pages
appearing out of order. Joe Bill reported that because of this printer's error,
the front and back
covers of the ensuing issues will be in color. Pete reported on selling
advertising for future
newsletters to help offset printing costs.
Habitat
Pete Cimellaro reported on the water project this weekend in Patagonia. On
April 3rd and 4th the
ADBSS, ADA and AZG&F will be conducting a joint project to redevelop Hacks Rim.
We hope
to see good participation from the Buckskin Chapter, since this is near the
Arizona Strip. Pete also
distributed a deer transplant budget timeline from G & F. The Board discussed
the proposed
transplant and will set an appointment with G & F to discuss any and all
questions.

Chapter Affiliation
Chris Denham moved, Kevin Harris seconded, to approve $ 1,070.00 and sponsor the
Yuma
Valley Rod and Gun Club's trailer and have our logo placed on it. Motion
carried.
Youth Program
The
Board discussed better communication for future youth projects.

PR/ Education
Steve Chevront reported that the booth for the Expo is set up

Sunday 10-5
Pete Cimellaro moved, Mark Bool seconded, to approve $ 846.96 for items
and supplies for ADA booth at Expo. Motion carried.
Bylaws
No Report
Chris Denham moved, Dom Lopano seconded, to set the annual ADA Members
meeting to be May 8th. Motion carried. Meeting place to be
determined
Old Business
Kevin Harris reported on spotlight issue during open hunting season. The
commission denied the rule
change
as written and will take action within the next 18 months.
Chris Denham moved, Joe Bill Pickrell seconded, to reimburse Kevin Harris
$2,200.00 for the
out-of-pocket cost for the Ken Rowe Mule Deer Bronze. Motion carried.
Mark Bool moved, Scott Gorczyca seconded, to allow Kevin Harris to purchase a
bronze at our
cost.
Motion carries.
ADA will reserve 1-5 of the bronzes for future deer banquets.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
