Attendees in 2007 were treated to information that answered questions like "what affects antler size?" and "can deer see colors?" during a presentation by biologist Jim Heffelfinger.

Free to ADA Members

Cost: Juniors aged 10-17 free; adults $10 at the door, or free with the purchase of an ADA membership.  No need to pre-register!.  Everyone who has drawn a deer tag for the 2008 season is encouraged to attend.

Topics and speakers this year include:

Deer Hunting Tactics by Desi Marquez, lifetime Arizona Resident and hunter ed instructor

Taxidermy by Jim Hartsock, Owner Southwest Wildlife

Glassing and Optics by Cortland Thude, Vortex Optics Representative

Ecology and Biology of Coues Whitetail and Mule Deer in Arizona by Jim Heffelfinger, Author of Deer of the Southwest 

Proper Care of Game Meat in the Field by Mike Miller of Miller's Southwestern Processing

Activities include a raffle and a special section with a rifle raffle, laser shoot and other activities for youth hunters.

Special Raffle for a

Yellow Lab

We will be holding a Special Raffle for a female yellow lab at this years clinic.  You don't want to miss out on this one.  This is a beautiful female yellow lab donated to the ADA for this special raffle.  Tickets will be $10 each or 6 tickets for $50

 

 

 

  
The Arizona Deer Association will be bringing several bucks from our collection to display at the clinic.
