To the Juniors Hunters in Units 36A/C,

The Arizona Deer Association would like to congratulate each of you successfully drawing a tag for the 2003 Juniors deer hunt in Game Management Units 36A/C, and we wish each of you the best of luck.

The Arizona Deer Association is extending an invitation to you, the adults and other members of your camp to come by and take advantage of our 1st Annual Camp for the juniors hunting deer in Units 36A/C.  Camp will open at approximately 6 pm on November 20th and close early to mid-afternoon on November 23rd. We will provide hot-dogs, hamburgers, sodas, water, coffee, hot chocolate and chips free of charge to those who come by.

We will try (depending upon their schedules) to have representatives from the Arizona Game and Fish Department, personnel from the refuge, and local individuals in camp for a general information presentation starting around 6 pm (and throughout the camp as much as possible).  These presentations will provide information on a variety of topics, including where deer have been seen or traditional areas where they may be found.

Please refer to the enclosed maps for the location of the camp.

Again, congratulations and good luck on your hunt!  Please remember: SAFETY first, and it's not necessary to harvest an animal to have a successful hunt.

 Sincerely,

 Blaine Bickford

Treat every firearm as if it is loaded. Never assume a firearm is unloaded

Always control the direction of you firearm’s muzzle.  Never pull a firearm toward you by the muzzle.

Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.  Another hunter could be in front of or behind your target.
