Game & Fish 

Leonard Ordway presented new accounting forms and totals for the special tag accounts for mule deer and Coues whitetail. 

Leonard also gave a power point presentation on a project request for the White Tank Mountains.  After the presentation and lengthy discussion:

 Motion by Domenick Lopano with a second by Rick Miller to approve $40,970 of special Mule Deer Tags funds for the project.  Motion carried.

 

Pete Cimellaro presented a request from Jimmy Simmons, unit 23 S Wildlife Manager, asking for payment of a project approved previously.  The request is for $5,889.20 ( of ADA funds) to complete Boundary Tank.  Development Branch will begin construction of Boundary Tank on October 23.

 Motion by John Koleszar with a second by Domenick Lopano to spend $5,889.20 of ADA funds to complete Boundary Tank.  Motion carried.

 Request was made by Pete Cimellaro for an article on the White Tank project for the newsletter.

 

Pete Cimellaro presented a request to confirm approval for redevelopment of Brandenburg and Buzan catchments in Aravaipa Canyon, Game Management Unit 31.  These two projects will be scheduled for the first of the year and be a joint cooperative project with the Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society.  Cost will be split between Bighorn Sheep tag funds and Coues Whitetail funds, approximately $40,000 for each project.

 Motion by Mark Bool with a second by John Koleszar to spend up to $40,000 of Coues Whitetail special tag funds to redevelop Brandenburg and Buzan catchments in Aravaipa Canyon.   Motion carried.

 

Pete Cimellaro presented a request for the ADA to provide 25 ADA juniors hunting vests to the G & F for a Navajo Nation youth deer hunt.  The hunt will be jointly sponsored by the G & F and the ADA and run by the G & F.

 Motion by John Koleszar with a second by Rick Miller to provide 25 youth hunting vest for the Navajo youth deer hunt.  Motion carried.

  

Treasurers Report was given by Craig Dunlap.  After discussion

 Motion by John Koleszar with a second by Rick Miller to accept the Treasurers Report as presented.  Motion carried.

 

Craig Dunlap made a request to the board to fund his attendance at a workshop for Accounting for Non-profit Organizations.

 Motion by Mark Bool with a second by Rick Miller to fund $240 for the Non-profit Accounting Workshop.  Motion carried.

  

All Other committee reports were given and no action was taken
