Thank you letter from the ADA President

I want to take this time to thank everyone who attended the 2009 AZ Deer Association 13^th Annual Banquet on June 27, 2009.  Without the support from all who participated in the auctions and raffles, the help from the ADA board of directors, members, and volunteers, this year’s fundraiser would not have been as successful as it was.  We netted $218,722 for wildlife conservation in Arizona.  The special mule deer tag raised $156,000.00, the whitetail tag brought in $16,000.00 and the special mountain lion tag raised $3,200.00 all for habitat projects for wildlife. 

Having participated in several fundraisers over the years, I know that the folks that work tirelessly to make sure everything goes off without problems is an increasing daunting task.  It is the dedication from many of the members and board that make this all happen behind the scenes.  But mostly to the folks who attend the banquet, to raise funds not only for the ADA but for wildlife, it gives me great sense of satisfaction to know that I am associated with such fine individuals.

Thank you again, I look forward to working with many of you in the upcoming year and also hope to see you at the 14^th annual fundraiser in 2010.
