ADA Camp for Unit 23 Youth Hunt

When: October 5th through the 7th

Where: Cherry Creek Ranch in Young, Arizona

Hunter Mentoring Program:  We will have a couple of people available to assist on your hunt if help is needed along the lines of game retrieval and game care (dressing and skinning).  If you are interested in having a mentor to assist with your hunt please contact Rick at 602-463-6192 so that we can make arrangements ahead of time.

Information: There will be raffles, prizes and giveaways for hunters and youth family members.  The ADA will be hosting dinner on Friday and Saturday nights as well as having soda, water and coffee throughout the day.

There will also be maps of the area and the local AZG&F wildlife manager will be around to field questions and help point you in the right direction.

Directions:  To get there from Young you will head South on Buck McKinney Rd. from the Young Road (SR 288).  The map will refer to this as Cherry Creek Rd but the first sign on the street corner will be Buck McKinney Rd and it is right in the bend of SR 288 when it changes directions from North/South to East/West.  You will immediately turn left going over Cherry Creek onto Cherry Creek Rd (FS 54A).  Continue down Cherry Creek Rd for approx 7 miles and there will be signs posted along the way to keep you going in the right direction.  We will actually be South East of the Ranch house and you will take a left at the fork in the road that goes to the ranch house.  Follow the signs.

Contact Rick Miller at 602-463-6192 with any questions.
